Alys grows books on gardening , too!
She’s published loads. Most recently, leaving the garden to slugs, Alys set out in an inflatable kayak to explore Birmingham’s canal network . . noticing the wild everywhere and what it means to see beauty where you least expect it.

Hidden Nature, her account of that emotional journey and her coming out as a gay woman was the result. It has become a best seller here in Machynlleth, so do come along and meet the author, who will be talking as part of the celebrations
