This week marks Canada Day - another nation bounded on three sides by the sea and the other by an ‘undefended’ border! We welcome Tyler and Tristan and their newest novels No Good Brother and Hummingbird. Each is set in the Canadian west coast landscapes familiar to them both. They’ll exchange readings, describing some of their quirky characters and often humorous situations, look back at their earlier work, and we’ll ask them to discuss why their latest novels present us with male characters dealing with loss.
Tyler Keevil is an award-winning author from Vancouver, Canada. Tyler is now settled in Wales. He’ll be here in conversation with Tristan, about his work and his most recent novel, No Good Brother, published in paperback this year by The Borough Press.
Tristan Hughes was born in Atikokan, a small town in northern Ontario, Canada, where he lived for four years before moving to Anglesey (or Ynys Mon in Welsh), an island off the coast of north Wales. He’ll be here in conversation with Tyler, about his work and his most recent novel, Hummingbird, published by Parthian.
