Welcome to Pen'rallt Gallery Bookshop. It's our blend of bookshop and gallery space to inspire you. We host events too, sociable author readings and talks, photographers' gallery talks and exhibition openings. Our regular series of workshops, from life writing and fiction to poetry, will help to uncover the writer in you too.

We're pretty proud of it and our ever growing number of customers appreciate it too. So, why not have a look around our site which we'll be developing further, or call in.

LOOKING OUT, LOOKING IN

TUESDAY 29 MAY 2018, 7 FOR 7.30PM
YOUNG PALESTINIANS SPEAK

We welcome Anthony Robinson & Annemarie Young, who will be in the bookshop to present and read from Young Palestinians Speak: Living Under Occupation

From the authors of the widely acclaimed and award-winning
Refugee Diaries, Anthony Robinson's titles also include Real Stories from Street Children. Annemarie writes non-fiction for older children and fiction for young readers. Her latest projects include Who are Refugees and Migrants?, What is Humanism? and What is Right and Wrong?, co-written with Michael Rosen.

In Palestine today, a second generation of children and young people is growing up experiencing life under occupation. Young Palestinians Speak provides a platform for children and young people, from all over this occupied land.  Through this book these young people share with you their dreams and fears for themselves and their country, and in so doing lay open their humanity and offer the hope for a brighter future in Palestine.
